Sam has been selling real estate throughout Southern California since 1986. Based in Irvine, he has been a top selling agent since day 1, achieving Rookie of the Year in his first year. Since then, he has received more awards than he can count, including Re/Max Executive and 100% Clubs and achieving the coveted Hall of Fame status at First Team Real Estate, and most recently Coldwell Banker's prestigious International Sterling Society. Sam's knowledge of real estate is as vast as it is deep. He is infinitely familiar with real estate throughout Southern California. Having sold homes, investment properties and apartments from Lomita to Fallbrook and from Huntington Beach to Riverside and Jurupa Valley to Chula Vista.
Whether working with families to find their "dream home" or with those interested in investment properties, placing the client's interests first is at the core of Sam's philosophy. He emphasizes the importance of developing a relationship with clients, placing the utmost importance on carefully guiding them as they make one of the biggest investments of their lives. He believes that when you take care of a client like it was your own son or daughter, they will refer their friends and family members to him. And they do, 88% of Sam's business comes from referrals and past clients.
Sam has never been concerned about the number of homes he sells. But rather by the number of relationships he builds. He is deeply devoted to helping his clients at all times, be it climbing on the roof of a home to slather tar on a leaky roof in a pounding rain storm, coaching and refereeing kids' soccer games, donating blood platelets or making a donation to the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Chapter, Sam is always at your beck and call. Whether you are in the market to buy or sell a home, or both, you know that Sam is always there to help you through the process.
Sam believes he is the luckiest guy in the world. Because of this, he enjoys giving back to the community and to his clients. For the past 25 years, Sam has hosted a client appreciation Angel game. The event has a special name, "Annual Sam Chinarian Takes Everyone To The Angel Game." Since that is too long, they just call it ASCTETTAG. This past year he entertained 400 clients and friends at the Angels vs Seattle on June 10th. Sam's guests enjoyed an amazing pregame BBQ tailgate party, the game, and afterwards there was a postgame dessert party.
When Sam is not selling Real Estate, he enjoys spending time boating and attempting to water ski (he is not very good) on Lake Powell and Lake Mead. He has been married to his wife Jeri for 48 years. Jeri is now retired but at the end of her professional career she was the Director of Budgeting for Anaheim Union High School District. They have two children. Their daughter, Kelly, who is a mental health therapist working in special education with Irvine Unified School District. Their son, Scott, is a professional sports agent. Sam and Jeri have 2 grandsons, Henry and Leo from their daughter Kelly.
